  • Founder

    Rybin Talent Mgmt. LLC. and Rybin Studio of Drama. Susan is an Actress, Teacher, Talent Manager, and Graduate of The New School for Social Research in Human Relations, Nutrition, and Child Psychology. At age six, she began acting classes at Miriam Colon’s Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre in New York. She is the only artist to have won the Arts-Sciences-Lettres Award of the Academic Society of France as a minor for her portrayal of Anne Frank in “The Diary of Anne Frank”. Amongst her extensive list of awards as best actress are H.O.L.A, ACE & Woman of the Year “El Diario”. One of her recent performances also won her an ACE and H.O.L.A Award for Outstanding Solo Performance as Frida in “Frida Kahlo: Viva la Vida” in Spanish and the United Solo Festival Award for her performance in English of “Frida Kahlo:Long Live Life” at Theatre Row.

    In 1982, Rybin Studio of Drama was founded and remains the only Spanish/bilingual training unit that offers classes in acting, modeling, auditioning, commercial techniques, voice and theater. Students are selected through an interview/audition process which helps determine the student’s goals, aspirations, and degree of natural talent. Rybin Talent Management offers talented young actors the opportunity to work in T.V. Commercials, Voice-Overs, Film, Television and Theater, while specializing in Latino representation of kids & teens. Rybin Talent strives to make Stars and develop an awareness about the abundance of talent that exists among Latino actors.

    Rybin Studio of Drama and Rybin Talent Management received a Special Recognition Award from the Association of Latin Entertainment Critics of New York (ACE) in commemoration of over 30 years in business, the Golden Age Award for Community Service, and recognition from Promesa, the Mayor of NYC for Hispanic Heritage Week, NY Housing, and The Arts Council.

  • Talent Coordinator

    Jasmine Martinez started as an actress at the early age of 14 taking classes in Rybin Studio of Drama, becoming part of its long family-style legacy. She has performed in theater, television, and commercials, such as "One Life to Live", "beenz.com", "Cross Cutters", and even participated in a "Camilo Sesto" concert. Martinez soon became an assistant in Rybin Studio of Drama (RSD) and Rybin Talent Management (RTM). Now, she is a manager for a call center and talent coordinator for RTM, a part of guiding the careers of young talents.

  • Executive Director

    At just 25, Sophia Angelica is a unique Argentinean-American young artist who is not only an extremely talented singer, but also a gifted bilingual songwriter, actress, teacher, and storyteller capable of writing in English and Spanish. With her debut album #Angelicas, Sophia has created a fun, energy-infused, emotional roller coaster of an album that takes on heavy topics about heartbreak and self- esteem. With many TV and festival appearances, she set out on her entertainment career at 6 years of age and made her debut on “Good Day New York” on FOX and “Dora the Explorer” on Nickelodeon. Having studied theater at Union County Academy for Performing Arts, she is also an actress who has worked on a variety of voiceovers, commercials, theater, and short films. Having performed around the world and as a global activist, she works closely with the United Nations, and has traveled internationally to combat bullying and discrimination. In March of 2018, Sophia, as lead speaker and performer, went on a University Human Rights Tour in Taiwan. Soon after, she received the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors “Breakthrough Artist Award,” and the prestigious “Presidential Volunteer Service Award” in Washington, D.C. for her work with human rights. She’s also received letters of recognition from New York State Governor's Office, the State Legislature of New Jersey, and many other political leaders. Having just returned from being invited by the Gates Foundation to perform in Thailand, Sophia continues to perform in well- known venues across the tri-state area, such as Birdland Jazz Club, Duffy Square - Times Square, The Stone Pony, Yankee Stadium and Meadowlands RaceTrack. Most recently, Sophia won a Marvin Hamlisch International Music Award under the category of Contemporary Pop, presented by the legendary Clive Davis. She also is currently a lead teacher of acting, voice, and songwriting at Rybin Studio of Drama and Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts.

  • Creative Director

    Nicolas Salgado is an actor since the age of 5 and has been represented by Rybin Talent Management as well as a graduate from Rybin Studio of Drama . His credits include : Sopranos , Orange is the New Black , Law & Order , Blue Bloods, just to name a few. He has appeared in films such as: Safe, The Little Fugitive , Paraiso Travel, Changing Lanes, and Bless the Child. As a graduate of Rutgers University, with a degree in communication and theater, Nicolas is now part of the teaching staff of Rybin Studio of Drama, while he continues pursuing his career in acting .

  • Theater Professor

    Is a Puerto Rican director, actor, and teaching artist based in New York. He graduated from The New School for Drama with a degree in MFA Directing. His early studies were at the University of Puerto Rico with a degree in both Architecture and Drama. During his studies, Andrés was recognized by the university with awards in both directing and set design. In 2010, he created his own production company, Arte Zanquia’o, where he directed, produced, and acted in a variety of performances that ranged from improv shows to original works. The success of his company would capture the attention of the most prestigious theaters in Puerto Rico, who invited Andrés to lend his directing talents to their new play development programs. In New York, he joined the creative team of Teatro LATEA, where he founded a resident theater company called Teatro 220, which has already won HOLA, LATA and ACE awards. As an actor he has played roles like Jaques (As You Like It), Lyngstrand (The Lady from the Sea), Afilador (Ligazón) and Macbeth. His Assistant Directing credits include, working with Laura Savia on Artney Jackson at Williamstown Theatre Festival and Christopher Liam Moore on Hairspray The Musical at Oregon Shakespeare Festival. His work as an artist has been seen in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Williamstown Theatre Festival and Oregon Shakespeare Festival. In New York at The Tank, NYU Tisch Musical Theatre, LATEA Theater, The New School for Drama, The Cherry Lane Theater and many more. In July 2019 he was awarded with the 2019/2020 Clubbed Thumb Theater Directing Fellowship in New York. He recently joined Rybin Talent & Studio of Drama as Theatre Teacher in Manhattan.

  • Theater Professor

    Diego Chiri is a bilingual actor and stage director originally from Lima, Peru and currently living in New York City. He moved to the United States in 2006 to study theater and graduated from Bucknell University with a concentration in directing for the stage. In 2014, he became a member of the off-Broadway company Repertorio Español (Spanish Repertory Theatre), where he has worked in several productions as a director, assistant director and as an actor. In addition, he works at TimeLine Video, a media production company in Westchester, NY. Diego is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the Observership Class of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation. His theatrical work in NYC has received several awards, including the HOLA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Direction in 2016 and 2017.
